2006: KAEFER designs the interior outfitting, heating and air conditioning, power generation and solutions for fresh and waste water for the Antarctic research station Neumayer III on behalf of the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research.
In Mainz, Germany, KAEFER converts the American Pont du Clair barracks into luxurious residential accommodation.
In Switzerland, KAEFER deploys its tunnel robots to install fire protection in the Horburg tunnel and fits cabins to more cruise liners in Finland.
KAEFER carries out insulation and scaffolding work at the Danish Statoil refinery and an Irish desulphurisation plant.
Contracts for the Norwegian offshore platform Statfjord A and the Spanish offshore facility Buzzard are followed by the first LNG and petrochemical orders in India.
